The 2nd International Workshop on Digital and Intelligence Systems Engineering (WDISE’25) was successfully held from December 3–5, 2025 in Rabat, Morocco, jointly with the 8th International Conference on Advanced Communication Technologies and Networking (CommNet’25). This major scientific event brought together a vibrant community of researchers, academics, and industry experts working in the fields of AI, intelligent systems, data science, IoT, privacy, networking, telecommunications, and advanced communication technologies.

CommNet, an international conference co-sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society, is widely recognized for its strong technical program covering communications, network optimization, cybersecurity, data systems, and emerging digital technologies. The 2025 edition, organized in a hybrid format, continued this tradition with high-quality paper presentations, workshops, tutorials, and specialized sessions.

WDISE’25 further strengthened this momentum by offering a multidisciplinary platform that encouraged scientific exchange and fostered collaboration across diverse research areas. The workshop featured peer-reviewed technical sessions, special thematic sessions, tutorials, and live demonstrations, making it an ideal venue for showcasing innovative research and emerging trends in digital and intelligent systems engineering.

This joint event was organized through the collaboration of the Polydisciplinary Faculty of Sidi Bennour (Chouaib Doukkali University), ENSIAS (Mohammed V University in Rabat), and the International University of Rabat, whose combined efforts ensured an enriching and well-structured scientific experience.

In recognition of the event’s academic rigor and international relevance, all accepted papers will be submitted for publication in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library and are expected to be indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, and other major scientific databases. This guarantees broad dissemination and long-term visibility for the work presented.

Overall, the joint organization of WDISE’25 and CommNet’25 represented a significant milestone, reinforcing Chouaib Doukkali University position as a hub for cutting-edge research and offering participants a valuable forum for networking, collaboration, and the advancement of knowledge in the digital and intelligent systems domain.
